Convertible Top Parts

Genuine OEM convertible top components for both soft top and retractable hardtop convertibles — hydraulic pump motors, lift cylinders, roof lock latches, tonneau and compartment lid motors, and boot covers. Every part pulled and tested from a single donor vehicle.

When a power convertible top stops working, the cause is usually one of four things. The hydraulic pump motor fails and the top stalls partway or does nothing while the pump whines. The cylinders or hydraulic lines leak, and the top drops unevenly or sags. The front roof lock latch or actuator gives out, so the top won't seal against the windshield header — often showing up first as wind noise or water at the top corners of the windshield. Or the tonneau / compartment lid motor quits, meaning the rear deck won't open to let the top fold away.

Replacing the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in this repair. Match the part to your symptom, and always confirm your exact chassis code and year range before ordering — these components are rarely interchangeable between models, even within the same make. An E46 pump is not an E93 pump.

Why used OEM here: new dealer parts for discontinued convertibles are often unavailable at any price, and aftermarket reproductions frequently don't match factory hydraulic pressure or mounting geometry. These are the original factory components.

One of one. Every part on this page is salvage-sourced, which means most are the only one we have. When a piece sells, we may never see that exact part again. What's listed here is what physically exists in our shop today.

Looking for a top part that isn't listed? It may have already sold. Get in touch with your year, make, model and chassis code and we'll tell you if we can source it.
