How to tell it's the amp

The giveaway is that the fault affects every speaker at once. If sound drops out across the whole system, comes back when you hit a bump, or the audio is distorted at any volume, the amplifier is the common point. A blown speaker fails on its own channel — if only one corner of the car is dead, look at that speaker first.

Fitment

Fits 2010–2013 Mazda 3 — sedan and hatchback, all trims (i, S, GS, GX, GT, Grand Touring, Touring, GS-SKY, Sport, Mazdaspeed) and all engines (2.0L, 2.3L turbo, 2.5L).

Your car must have the factory Bose system. Non-Bose cars use a different setup and this amplifier won't work in them. If you're not sure, check for Bose badging on the speaker grilles or door sills — and if you're still unsure, send us your year and trim and we'll confirm.
